Dr. Goldfoot in London 1917

In the phone directory of 1917 was listed Dr. Goldfoot, Physician and Surgeon in London. His address was Brondesbury Rd N.W, and phone? was Willesden 598. To be a doctor I would presume that he was born before 1900, most likely in the 1890's. His first name was not given, but many Goldfoots have been doctors.

Comments:
Dear Naomi, I knew Dr. Goldfoot very well. His first name was Derek. Indeed he was a physician, and a very good one! also a delightful chap, quite artistic. Took very good photos, I saw some wonderful black and white ones of his in those days. Brondesbury Rd. was location of one of the medical offices, the practice also had another branch in Paddington. I worked for the practice on and off, as a locum from abt. 1963 until 1970,we also kept in touch with Derek's wife Sybil Michelow, the contralto, who died in 2013.
If you need further info please let me know. Unfortunately, we never met any other members of Derek's family. To my knowledge, they had no children.

Derek's medical partner was Dr. Owen Franklin, who died quite young.

Regards, Nicholas Koleszar MD.
